Graves of Sidney Redford Nash & Annie Elizabeth Walker
Sidney Redford Nash, youngest son of John T. Nash and Elizabeth Jane Shannon, despite being blind, farmed the John T. Nash land until his death. The land has since been divided up and there are numerous house sites on it. However, at the top of the hill overlooking the majority of the land, amongst a batch of overgrown trees and shrubs, is a small cemetery where Sidney and his wife Annie are buried.
The two graves are surrounded by a barbed wire fence that doesn't seem to have a way in, at least not one that doesn't take you through brambles and thorns.
This is what the top of the hill looks like from the nearest road. Across this street, there is a row of small homes and double-wides.

Unfortunately, the top of Sidney's headstone has fallen off its base and has been leaned up against it.

Annie's headstone is still in good shape.

A large shrub separates the two headstones

This is the view of the old John T. land that Sidney farmed from the hilltop where Sidney's grave is. This land is located in Shannondale off of US 19 & 460 in Tazewell County.
