There are quite a few ways I'm trying to protect your privacy. Of course, keep in mind, that most of the documentation contained in this website is property of the public domain. A few well-placed digs through county or state files and you can find much more than what I have here.

Password Protection
This geneology site can only be accessed by those who have the password. This list will be limited to those of us in the family, or those doing legitimate geneological research. For those of you already at this site, you can, however, bookmark the main page and you will NOT have to use the password on subsequent visits.

Limited Personal Information
For the living, I have limited the amount of personal information contained at this website. There are no social security numbers, places of employment, street addresses or email addresses. For any stories, memories, or other such ramblings, they may contain where you used to live or used to work, but not where you are now. Anything in the past is fair game.

A Further Note of Importance
If there is a funny story about you from your childhood on these pages, feel free to be sufficiently embarrassed. If I've posted a particularly cute photograph of you from school, cringe and move on. Please don't ask me to remove items from this site. I have posted photographs in my personal collection, and those from other collections with permission. If you are willing for family members to peruse through photo albums at family reunions, then you cannot object to this information being compiled here. As I've said, much more information exists about you in cyberspace than what I have posted here. If someone wanted to, they could get your SSN, your phone number, even what brand of toothpaste you use. It's all public knowledge.

This site exists to share what family history I've gained, as well as show off some of the photographs in my collection, and to encapsulate the history of America, via names like Nash, McLain, Crook, Luster, Crockett, etc. A lot of work by a lot of people has gone into this compilation, so take it only for what it is! A brief history of us.

Think of me as a family historian. Long after I've closed this website, all of this information will still exist on disk and can be accessed by simply opening an accompanying browser. Even when the website no longer exists, you can still request a copy of the CD. If you knew how difficult it is even now to get information on generations that are only 50 years old, you would appreciate the effort!
